Self-Love Journey with Nina Michelle

by Wednesday, December 23, 2015

When I started this blog almost three years ago I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to contribute to the blogospher other than my personal style. However, as time went on I felt the urge to add something of more value. Because what’s the point in dressing up in you best attire if you don’t feel happy on the inside? Not that there is anything wrong with dressing up, cause I sure do love to do that! But I don’t want my outfits to be the only thing you see when you browse my pictures.

It’s rather easy to connect with someone’s style, but it’s not as easy to connect on a personal level. There is always so much more beneath the surface, but not everyone is willing to expose those parts. My point in saying all this is to introduce to you a new segment on my blog called Self-Love Journey.

“Learning to love yourself is the first step to a full life of happiness”.

Our level of self-love is an integral part to success in our careers, relationships, and  overall well-being. I plan to share with you real situations from real people who have started their self love journey, and how you can too!

To kick things off, I invited my bff Nina Michelle to share her journey to self love. She just like many of us didn’t always love herself enough, and because of this she inflicted her self to practices and habits that wasn’t alway good for her. She shares her story below. I like the idea of doing things by yourself and really learning who you are. A lot of people don’t feel comfortable going places themselves. Planning the day to match your feelings is another great idea. Great video, your bff is awesome. I’m loving this self love series already. Happy Holidays babe.

[ Smiles ] Oh, I am great at doing things by myself; since I am my mothers only child (No brothers and sisters while growing up).
